CLARK FREEPORT — The president and CEO of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) is now the presidential adviser for flagship programs and projects.
President Duterte has appointed Vivencio “Vince” Dizon, BCDA top honcho, for the advisory position. Dizon’s appointment was confirmed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea over the weekend.
Dizon’s inclusion as member of the administration’s infrastructure cluster is warranted under Executive panded the BCDA mandate in the conversion of the Clark and Subic military reservations, vital public infrastructure projects and role in the Build Build Build program.
Aside from his role in the BCDA, Dizon is acting chairman of the Clark Development Corp. and a member of government corporations John Hay Management Corp., Poro Point Management Corp., Fort Bonifacio Development Corp., Bonifacio Estate Services Corp. and Bonifacio Global City Estates Association.
It can be recalled that Dizon was also named by this newspaper as its 2018 “Man of the Year” for his being the most successful BCDA president/ CEO ever leading the state-run-firm in a fast and furious infrastructure development under the administration’s Build, Build, Build Program.
