ANGELES CITY – Seven high powered computers, two printers as well as tables and chairs were given to the City College of Angeles (CCA) on Friday in a boost to modernize the establishment of its e-library for the use of its students.
The CCA is the beneficiary of the Bridges of Benevolence Initiative (BBI) Foundation, Inc., the corporate social responsibility (CSR) arm of the BB International Leisure and Resort Development Corp. which owns Midori Hotel and Casino as well as Aqua Planet located in the nearby Clark Freeport Zone.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. signed a memorandum of agreement with the BBI Foundation led by its chair, Dr. Irineo “Bong” Alvaro, Jr. and Atty. Sheryl Santos-Centino, for the setting up of the e-library with a scope of supplying, delivering, installing, testing and commissioning of the donated equipment.
The MOA signing was held at the Mayor’s Office at the City Hall.
