ABUCAY, Bataan- This town on Thursday observed its 428th founding year with pageantry marked with colorful floats and street dancing.
The weather cooperated with the festivities. It was not so hot and neither was there any drizzle.
Some men and women enjoyed dancing to the tune of bouncy music from loud speakers mounted on vehicles.
Street dancers in colorful costumes regaled the big audience who lined up along the MacArthur Highway.
It was a day to remember with lovely young ladies making the colorful floats lovelier eliciting “ohs” and “ahs” from the big crowd filling the streets.
Two floats were noticeable and seemed to outshine the others. One was banca-inspired from a fishing village. Another float was laden with beautiful flowers. Both had lovely muses.
Mayor Ana Santiago led her constituents in the long parade.
