BALANGA City – The Bataan Police Provincial Office on Wednesday earned a perfect score of 100 points and was declared champion in the first Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) conducted by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
PCol Marites Salvadora, Bataan police director, received the award from PBrig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio Penones, Jr., PRO3 director.
The first EMPO challenge was participated by all Police Provincial Offices and City Police Offices in Region 3. It was held in line with the Chief PNP’s thrust on EMPO.
“This victory highlights the Bataan PNP’s dedication and capability to deliver excellent police service, demonstrating their readiness not only to serve the people of Bataan but also to promote excellent service standards of policing across the entire region 3,” Salvadora said.
Participants were assessed on various operational and technical proficiencies that included 911 call handling, radio communication, drone operation, use of digital platforms such as Zoom and Discord, body-worn camera utilization, and the EMPO management skills of unit commanders.
The Bataan PPO conducted response tests on simulated incidents like an alleged carnapping and a hostage-taking situation involving the use of a firearm.
It was held in Abucay, Bataan with the coordination of the Metro Bataan Development Authority and the local marshals. (30)
