BALANGA City: The Bataan Police Provincial Office hosted Thursday a conference at Camp Cirilo Tolentino here in preparation for the final deployment plan on the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections on Monday, October 30.
Colonel Palmer Tria, Bataan police director said strategies and plans for a smooth and successful elections were discussed with the aim of ensuring the safety and security of the candidates, voters and election officials during the electoral process.
Tria and Lawyer Chris Ian Silva, provincial election supervisor, presided over the conference.
In attendance were chiefs of police from 11 towns and one city, police mobile force commanders and representatives from the Philippine Army, Coast Guard and Metro Bataan Development Authority.
“By collaboratively addressing the key areas, we are determined to maintain peace and order throughout the BSKE in Bataan,” Tria said.
The conference tackled the importance of upholding democratic principles and facilitating a fair and credible election process.
The police PD expressed gratitude to all the organizations for their participation, highlighting the significance of collective efforts in ensuring the success of the elections.
“We assure Bataeños that the Philippine National Police and other agencies are prepared and committed to upholding the integrity of the electoral process and safeguarding the rights of the voters,” Tria said.
