BALANGA City: The Bataan Police Provincial Office launched its 2025 weight-loss program in a simple but meaningful ceremony held at the covered court of Camp Tolentino here.
Col. Marites Salvadora, Bataan police director, said the program was in alignment with the directives of Chief PNP Gen. Nicolas Torre III and Region 3 police director Gen. Ponce Penones, Jr.
“This is to promote the physical well-being of all police personnel, adopt healthier lifestyles and improve their fitness for better public service. The program aims to encourage personnel, especially those classified as obese,” the lady PD explained.
The activity officially began with a weigh-in. Participants have three months to work towards their fitness goals.
The police officer who shows the most significant transformation will be named “the Biggest Loser” and will receive a special prize to be personally awarded by Col. Salvadora while consolation prizes will also be given to other participants who make notable progress. (30)
