BALANGA City: The Bataan Police Provincial Office inspected different designated fireworks stalls and other pyrotechnic devices in the province Saturday.
Bataan police director Col. Palmer Tria who led in the inspection said their action was to ensure that the firecracker outlets are not selling banned or dangerous items.
The police PD reminded the public to be responsible in using firecrackers and pyrotechnics during the New Year celebration. He urged the use of only legal and safe fireworks and to follow proper safety precaution.
Tria said the crackdown on illegal firecrackers and pyrotechnics continues.
He also announced that there are designated community firecracker and fireworks display zones.
