Bataan PNP conducts mental health exam

BALANGA CITY — The Bataan Police Provincial Office here conducted a psychiatric and psychological examination for its personnel at its headquarters at Camp Cirilo Tolentino Thursday.
Bataan OIC police director Col. Marites Salvadora said the examination was in line with the mental health program “Bantay Kaisipan” of the Philippine National Police.
The examinees hurdled written examination and oral interview that began with a short briefing on the provisions of the PNP memorandum circular on the program.
The activity was facilitated by the provincial intelligence unit in coordination with the regional medical and dental unit headed by Col. Jonard De Guzman.
“It aims to assess and promote the mental well-being of police personnel ensuring they remain mentally and emotionally prepared to carry out their duties effectively and responsibly,” Salvadora said. Photo: PNP-Bataan
