BALANGA CITY — If you are a non-essential traveler from the National Capital Region Plus areas, do not even attempt to come to Bataan at this time.
Those who are not classified as Authorized Persons Outside of Residence (APOR) from Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite and Rizal are banned in Bataan until April 4, 2021.
Border checkpoints manned by members of the Philippine National Police on Tuesday see to it that travelers strictly follow the requirements set by the provincial and national inter-agency task forces.
Checkpoints are located near the exit point of the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway Barangay Palihan, Hermosa and at the boundary of Pampanga and Bataan in Balsik, also in Hermosa.
Essential travelers from Bataan or not coming from NCR+ need to present valid identification and/or company ID, medical certificate, and health clearance.
Non-essential travelers from other areas in order to enter Bataan have to submit negative RT-PCR result.
All those entering Bataan have to show a Get-Pass QR code in checkpoints in Bataan boundaries.
APOR or essential travelers are those working in companies authorized to operate, health and emergency frontline workers, government officials and employees, those authorized to bring relief goods or other humanitarian services.
Also included are those needing medical attention, going to the airport to travel abroad, and returning overseas Filipino workers.
“We are strictly implementing these guidelines for those entering the province to curve the rise in the cases of coronavirus disease in Bataan. Residents are also not advised to travel at this time if not for important reasons,” Gov. Albert Garcia said.
