Bataan holds mini-violin concert on eve of Araw ng Kagitingan

    BALANGA CITY – The Bataan Tourism Council held in the evening of Araw ng Kagitingan a cultural night at the capitol ground here featuring Coke Bolipata and Pundaquit Virtuosi, well-known violin group.

    Vicky Garcia, Bataan Tourism Council chair, joined other visitors in a night full of music to start Bataan Day with various activities lined-up until April 13.

    The violin group performed some pieces by Mozart, Pachelbel and Vivaldi.

    The Koro Bangkal Mambikin composed of Aeta children sang Greg San Pedro’s “Sa Ugoy ng Duyan” and Cayabyab/Archbishop Soc Villegas’ “Bataan, Bayani at Banal” under the accompaniment of Pundaquit Virtuosi.

    Coke Bolipata played solo on Canseco’s “Sana’y Wala ng Wakas” and Velez’s  “Sa kabukiran”.
