BALANGA City – Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III delivered his State of the Province Address at the crowd – filled Bataan People’s Center here on Saturday as part of the celebration of the 269th Bataan Foundation Day.
The SOPA dealt more on the province’s gains on education, health, agriculture, peace and order and other fields.
“Nakita natin sa datos na may mga naabot tayo na dapat ipagpatuloy at palawakin. Marami pang pinagtagumpayang proyekto, programa ang ating mga kawani, ang ating mga kasamahan sa buong provincial government ang hindi na natin inisa-isa,” the governor said.
“Ito ay upang lahat tayo ay makapag -focus sa pagpapataas ng HDI++ na batayan ng actual na kalagayan ng ating mga kababayan. Ang lahat naman ng ating ginagawa sa ating probinsya ay naka-angkla dito,” Garcia summarized his speech.
Third district Congresswoman Maria Angela Garcia congratulated all those who contributed to what Bataan is today.


Municipal mayors led by League President Orion Mayor Tony Raymundo attended the affair.
The long stretch of the Capitol Road was temporarily closed to traffic giving way to various food stalls and products and the holding of Festival of Festivals and long parade made colorful by street dancers.
