BALANGA City: All trooped to the spacious Bataan People’s Center here to attend/witness Monday the mass oath- taking of public officials of the province elected in the May 2025 polls.
The Garcia siblings headed by reelectionist Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III received the new mandate.
Sworn-in were the governor’s brother Rep. Albert Garcia of the second district and sister Congresswoman Maria Angela Garcia of the third district. Their first cousin Cristina Garcia was reelected as vice governor.
Others who took their oath were Lawyer Tony Roman as congressman of the first district and Pusong Pinoy Partylist represented by Jett Nisay. Roman, a former board member, ran unopposed vice his sister former Rep. Geraldine Roman who finished her term.
Taking their oath were also the provincial Board members in three districts, town and city mayors, vice-mayors and councilors. (30)
