BALANGA CITY — Bishop Ruperto Santos on Saturday issued a special prayer for health workers who are in the frontlines in the war against Covid–19 plaguing the country.
The prelate of Bataan said many health workers, including doctors, have died and more are being weakened by the deadly virus, hence the need to prayespecially fot them.
Here is the prayer:
Oh! Almighty God, merciful Father, with contrite hearts and in humble supplication we come to You. Hear our fervent prayers as we lift up to You our healthcare workers. You know their deepest needs and what they are going through. Guide them with Your graces and guard from contamination.
We are grateful to You, our merciful Father, as You give them to us as Your helping and healing hands. We are thankful for their selfless services and sacrifices.We appreciate so much their caring ways and comforting gestures.
Protect our healthcare workers as they confront this Covid–19 pandemic on the frontlines compassionatelyattend those who are affected. Sustain them with courage of our patron Saint Joseph as they face these critical moments.
Cover them in Your providence that they may focus their belief and trust You are moving on their behalf.
Oh! Almighty God, may our healthcare workers feel Your steadfast love when they are in doubt or very much worried. Grant them maternal dedication and determination of our Virgen Milagrosa del Rosario del Pueblo del Orani when they need to perform their rounds, consultations and operations.
Provide them the protection they need to stay safe and spare from all harms. Strengthen their immunities and keep them always heathy.
Oh! loving Father, we humbly ask these things knowing You are moved by our united and faithful prayers in the name of Your most precious Son, and our Lord Jesus Christ, we pray.
