CITY OF MALOLOS – The mayor of Baliwag town and two other Covid-19 patients in Bulacan are now considered recovered from the disease after twice testing negative in RT-PCR tests.
According to Bulacan provincial health officer Dr. Joy Gomez, patient PH152 Baliwag Mayor Ferdie Estrella; PH21, a 58–year–old female from the City of San Jose del Monte; and PH413, a 31–year–old female from the town of Bulakan are now recovered from the corona virus.
Estrella was confirmed corona virus positive on March 16 and recovered on March 29; PH21 was confirmed positive on March 9 and recovered on April 6; andPH413 was confirmed positive on March 22 and recovered on March 28.
They have been released from different hospitals but remain under home quarantine.
Gomez said that aside from the three who recoveredfrom the disease, there are 15 patients currently showing clinical improvement from the virus but still under quarantine and just waiting for the negative results from their Covid-19 testing.
As per the latest report of the Bulacan Covid-19 Surveillance Team, there are 63 confirmed cases of Covid-19, 15 deaths, 623 patients under investigation,and 514 persons under monitoring.
Mayor Estrella has talked to Punto! that having recovered but still under quarantine, he had started performing his duties from home.
He also said that as a Covid-19 survivor he is willing to donate his blood plasma for the experimental test that might help other patients fight the disease.
