BALANGA CITY — The search for the most outstanding micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) also known as “Galing! Bataan” awards is back after a two-year break due to pandemic.
Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office (PCEDO) is now accepting entries wherein businesses located and operating in the province can join.
PCEDO Head Azucena Suguitan said it is open for all single proprietors, partnerships, corporations and associations located and operating in the province; engaged in food processing, non-food manufacturing or services, agriculture-based, retail, and or trade; in productive operation for at least three years; duly registered with appropriate government agencies; and with no derogatory record and no pending administrative cases.
“MSMEs can win P5,000 for 3rd place, P10,000 for 2nd place, and P15,000 for 1st place in each category; micro, small, and medium enterprise category,” she added.
Nomination forms are available at the provincial offices of PCEDO, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Science and Technology, Bataan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., Bankers Club of Bataan, Negosyo Centers, Business Permit and Licensing Office, and Bataan Food and Non-Food Manufacturers Association Inc.
Interested MSMEs may submit their entries to “Galing! Bataan” secretariat at PCEDO office at the 4th floor of The Bunker building, Capitol Compound, Balanga City or may send it through email at pcdo@bataan.gov.ph or edd.pcedo@gmail.com, deadline of submission is until May 13, 2022.
