CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – “Dito sa Pampanga, napakaganda ng service. Wala nang iintindihin, ‘pag may-sakit ka, full-assistance ang government. We can benchmark their best practices for all other LGUs to follow.”
Thus, declared Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) Secretary Ernesto Perez on Wednesday, July 12 at a benchmarking activity held at the sangguniang panlalawigan hall here.
“Alam naman natin na kapag ang lider has that political will, ‘di po excuse ang pagkakaroon ng limited resources, nasa diskarte ng lider ‘yan. ‘Pag ang lider ay proactive and has that political will, nothing is impossible in terms of rendering proper service to the people,” furthered Perez. “And so, we congratulate Governor Delta for setting the standard for best practice in Pampanga for all other LGUs to follow.”
Referencing Pampanga’s best practices, the secretary said ARTA will recommend a unified standard requirement for the provision of medical assistance to the Office of the President.
The governor, for his part, thanked ARTA for recognizing Pampanga as one of the provinces with the best practices in the provision of medical assistance.
“Nagpapasalamat po ako’t nandito kayo to observe one of our best programs po rito sa Pampanga, which is the medical assistance. Sana makatulong po kami,” he said.
The benchmarking activity is aimed at discussing ease of doing business initiatives and promoting a whole-of-government approach in adopting simplified requirements and procedures to expedite government transactions, particularly in the provision of medical assistance. Pampanga PIO
