MALOLOS CITY — The Army 48th Infantry Battalion and the municipal government of Pandi led the awarding of housing units to former Kadamay members on Wednesday.
Awarded in the 2nd batch of beneficiaries from Villa Louise and Pandi Heights were 500 housing units from National Housing Authority.
“The activity is a manifestation of the mandate of Executive Order No. 70 or the whole-of-nation approach where different government agencies are working hand-in-hand to end the local communist conflict. By providing decent homes, the government has created avenues towards its goal for lasting peace and continuous development,” 48IB Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Felix Emeterio M. Valdez said.
“Those who came back to the folds of the law now has a house and a home to return to,” 7th Infantry Division Commander Major General Lenard T. Agustin said in a statement.
