SAMAL, Bataan — Mayor Alexander Acuzar has declared April 20, 2023, Thursday, a special non-working holiday in this town to start the celebration of the 382nd Day of Samal.
The mayor issued the directive after officially signing Executive Order No. 048, series of 2023. The order covers all 14 barangays of Samal and to continue every April 20 of each year.
It encourages every constituent, including establishments within the municipality, to celebrate and join the festivities as spearheaded by the municipal government.
The day will start with a Holy Mass and the inauguration of the new Samal municipal hall.
Different activities have been lined up until April 30, day of the town fiesta.
