ANGELES CITY – The city government here under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. will begin giving booster shots against COVID-19 on November 25, 2021 to fully vaccinated healthcare workers.

This was revealed by Mayor Lazatin’s Chief Adviser IC Calaguas, also the chief implementer of the city government’s vaccination program.

Calaguas said the city government will prioritize doctors and nurses to receive booster shot, particularly those who got their vaccines from the city’s vaccination centers.

The staff of the Gender and Development Office led by Mina Cabiles will call the recipients for their designated schedule of booster shots, Calaguas says.

Calaguas said the recipient should also present their issued vaccination card showing that they are fully vaccinated.

According to Dr. Verona Guevarra, City Health Officer the supplies are sufficient for the booster of doctors and nurses.

Guevarra explained that the final guidelines for booster shots from the Department of Health will be released this week.
