MAYANTOC, Tarlac – The community-based activity of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Northern Luzon Command (Nolcom) dubbed “All-In-One Bayanihan” benefitted some 2,000 residents here.
Among the services provided were free medical and dental check-ups, food cart services, livelihood support, distribution of school supplies and wheel chairs.
“This highlights the Bayanihan initiatives of Nolcom and other stakeholders, particularly Go Share Foundation, to further reach out to the populace especially those who are in need within its area of responsibility,” Nolcom public information officer Major Ericson Bulosan said.
“We conducted a similar activity in remote and underdeveloped areas in Regions 1,2, 3 and Cordillera where basic services are in need to alleviate the suffering of the people,” he added.
“Aside from our mandate to protect and secure the people and our national territory, Nolcom will continue to pursue its non-traditional role of providing support to national development in order to uplift the lives of the Filipino people,” Bulosan said.
