Generally, safety is a condition of being protected from anything or situation which could likely cause danger, risk, or injury. Safety protects everyone from all forms of injury or illness, it can also minimize incremental costs caused by any injuries, and absenteeism, especially when people assimilate and put safety into practice, it increases productivity and quality of work thus, raises each and everyone’s morale.

In line with the celebration of its 25th Silver Anniversary, the Air Logistics Command has successfully lounged a two-in-one activity which is; Motorcycle Advocacy Fun Ride in adherence to the promulgated laws. This activity aims to promote safety awareness among the personnel and motorists that showcases the proper wearing of PAF prescribed safety gear for motorcycle riders and the proper observance of traffic discipline through deliberate attention to traffic rules and regulations. This Command strongly believed that this would inspire other motorists to emulate the bare essence of the activity.  Safety awareness is the first step in the implementation of a successful safety program which is indeed beneficial for everyone. Most of all, everyone needs to ensure that safety policies are at the forefront of everyone’s mind.

On the other hand, an Outreach Activity was conducted at two orphanages namely the Duyan ni Maria, Children’s Home for abandoned children, and Tahanan ng Munting Nazareth which is a shelter for mentally challenged children. This activity underscores the advocacy of this Command to reach out to these less fortunate children who’ve been abandoned by their parents under the care of social workers patiently giving the best love and attention that those children need. In this advocacy, several stakeholders have participated by sharing sacks of rice, assorted grocery items, and food packs.
