CANDABA, Pampanga — More than 1,000 residents here benefited from the Alagang Nanay Preventive Healthcare Program spearheaded by Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, as the province delivered free medical services and support to underserved communities.
A total of 1,081 Candabeños received free medical check-ups, medicines, and food packs during the program’s rollout in the municipality. Among them was Aling Edralin, who has been battling kidney problems and previously lost a leg to cancer. In tears, she expressed her heartfelt gratitude after personally meeting Governor Pineda.
The governor assured Edralin of continued support for her treatment and reaffirmed her commitment to bringing healthcare closer to Candaba residents.
Dennis ng equipment ospital niyo at maglalagay din kami ng additional building,” Nanay Gov said, announcing additional funding for the completion of a local government hospital in the town.
