Lacson, in a forum with the Capampangans in Media, Inc. (CAMI) on Friday, said she ordered an inventory of all items in the raided two-hectare piggery which was found to be mere front for a shabu research and development laboratory operated by seven Chinese nationals.
Elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Central Luzon police swooped down on the piggery Wednesday morning, along with media folk who had observed air conditioning units and other appliances, including LED television sets in the underground laboratory and in a residential building within the premises.
“I ordered the inventory after the PDEA left since I wanted that everything would remain intact there and the local government would not be accused of anything irregular. Our inventory showed, however, that the air conditioning units and other appliances initially observed in the area are not there anymore,” she said.
Lacson said, however, that 4,038 pigs were accounted for, although 10 of them have already died since the Wednesday raid.
