ANGELES CITY — The city government here under the leadership of Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. will provide P10,000 financial assistance to the two households affected by a fire in Barangay Pandan last April 16 and 17, 2022 respectively.
The assistance will be charged to the Office of the City Mayor.
Apart from this, the two households, composed of eight individuals, already received food packages, and goods such as mats, candles, hygiene materials, towels, which were distributed by the City Social Welfare and Development Office led by Edna Duaso, on April 18, 2022.
The fire incidents, which occurred on two consecutive days at Purok 5B Barangay Pandan, were reported to have no injuries and casualties, according to the report from the Angeles City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
Rodolfo Simeon, ACDRRMO head, said the rescue team went immediately to the scene to check on the victims, which was promptly ordered by Mayor Lazatin.
