AC gov’t distributes 66,073 school items to 49 public schools

ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has distributed 66,073 bags with school supplies, T-shirts and shoes to students in 49 public schools.

The distribution in the remaining four schools and 76 day care centers will follow suit.

“Unti-unti pong natutupad ang pinangako ko sa inyo na walang maiiwang batang Angeleño pagdating sa edukasyon, wala po tayong pinipili at wala na pong sana-all dahil lahat po mabibiyan. Iikutan po tayo sa lahat public schools at day care centers para ipamigay ito,” Lazatin said.

Vice Mayor Vicenta “Vicky” Vega-Cabigting, who assisted Mayor Lazatin during the distribution, congratulated the latter’s administration for a laudable project for young Angeleños.

Also joining the two officials during the distribution are City Councilors Atty. Arvin Suller, Dan Lacson, Edu Pamintuan, Alex Indiongco, JC Aguas, Marino Bañola, Raco Del Rosario, Alfie Bonifacio, Cris Cortez, and Jay Sangil; members of the Gender and Development Office led by Mina Cabiles, City Nutrition Office headed by Jermaine Jam Aguila, Angeles City Emergency Command Center led by Michael Lising, General Services Office headed by Evangeline Malonzo, and City Engineer Donato Dizon and staff.

This initiative of Mayor Lazatin also received positive feedback from Angeleno students, teachers and parents.

Lazatin was welcomed with banners and thank you notes from the students every time he visited a public school.

He also received some tokens of appreciation such as chocolates, portraits, rosary, buko and banana cakes from the students.

Dr. Irelyn Tamayo of DepEd Schools Division of Angeles City further expressed sincere gratitude to the Lazatin administration for always thinking of the welfare of the learners and the public schools.

Lazatin Senior High Annex (518); Belen Homesite Elementary School (207); Salapungan Elementary School (837); Mining Elementary School (407); Pineda – Gutierrez Elementary School (1,448); Pulung Cacutud Elementary School (627); Sitio Pader Elemenray School (670); Cutud Elementary School (790); and Enrica Sandico Elementary School (598);

Don Pepe Henson Memorial School with 458 beneficiaries; Cuayan Elementary School (1,411); Virgen Delos Remedios Elementary School (619); Abelardo G. Tinio Elementary School (912); Don Ambrocio Mendiola Integrated School (412); Claro M. Recto Information Communication Technology High School (1,320); Leoncia Village Elementary School (220); Apung Guidang Nepomuceno Elementary School (419); M. Nepomuceno Elementary School (1,236); Lourdes Northwest Elementary (1,981); Dr. Celemente N. Dayrit Memorial High School (1,770); Dr. Celemente N. Dayrit Elementary School (1,157); Angeles City Science High School (1,858); EPZA Resettlement Elementary School (2,325); Northville 15 Integrated School (4,248); Bonifacio V. Romero Senior High School (569); and Bonifacio V. Romero High School (1,330) also received their school items.

While Sapangbato National High School with 1,732 beneficiaries; Sapangbato Elementary School (1,690); Sitio Target Integrated School (379); Tacondo Elementary School (1,201); Air Force City Elementary School (392); Angeles City Senior High School (636); Pulungbulu Elementary School (830); Jose P. Dizon Elementary School (1,794); San Ignacio Elementary School (275); Francisco G. Nepomuceno Memorial High School (4,067); Francisco G. Nepomuceno Memorial Senior High School (1,123); Angeles Elementary School (2,261); Pampang Elementary School (1,683); Amsic Integrated School (3,678); Cutcut Elementary School (1,007); and Sto. Rosario Elementary School (2,770) rounded out the schools that were visited by Mayor Lazatin.
