ANGELES CITY Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on Saturday personally received the AstraZeneca vaccines donated by the Department of Health at the Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center (RLMMC).

The beneficiaries for the said donated vaccines are the health workers from the private and public hospitals identified by the DOH.

The mayor so inspected the COVID-19 cold storage facility for the vaccines established at the Angeles City hall.

Accompanying Mayor Lazatin during the inspection are chief adviser IC Calaguas, executive assistant Reina Manuel, RLMMC head Dr. Froilan Canlas and Information and Communications Technology Division chief Michael Lising.

According to Calaguas, the working committee for the city’s Covid-19 vaccination is working tirelessly to make sure that once the other batches of AstraZeneca vaccines arrive, the city government can immediately and efficiently conduct the citywide rollout to the 33 barangays.
