ANGELES CITY — Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. personally received Sinovac vaccines from the Department of Health, Region 3 on Thursday at the City College of Angeles.

Comprising 800 vials, the vaccine will be for the first and second doses of 400 recipients.

To date, 3,215 health workers from public and private hospitals in the city and medical personnel handling Covid-19 patients have been vaccinated using the initial vaccine donation from the World Health Organization, through the DOH.

The city government will procure vaccines for the remaining residents in the city. The vaccination procedure is being ironed out to ensure the efficiency of the vaccination roll-out.

Meanwhile, Mayor Lazatin is encouraging his constituents to participate in the online and house-to-house survey being conducted by the city government, in order to have an updated database system for the vaccine’s master list. —Photos by Jomes Sugui/Angeles CIO
