ACDRRMO chief Rudy Simeon
ANGELES CITY — “Calling the attention of PrimeWater Angeles.
Thus, former councilor and current city disaster risk reduction and management office chief Rudy Simeon posted in his Facebook page on Wednesday calling out the city’s water service provider for its “disservice” to the city consumers.
PrimeWater is part of the Villar conglomerate of billionaire former Senate President Manny Villar, wife Sen. Cynthia Villar and recently resigned Public Works Secretary and senatorial aspirant Mark Villar.
It can be recalled that lack of water in the faucets due to low pressure area was less of a complaint of consumers prior to PrimeWater’s takeover of the water services in the city.
Even the awarding of the service to PrimeWater became a contentious issue between the ACWD board and the city council, notably councilor Jesus “Jay” Sangil questioning the wisdom of the “hand over” to the Villar family corporation.
