ANGELES CITY – While the emerging top choice in surveys for city councilor and the SK federation president registered perfect attendance records, a wannabe-mayor emerged as the top absentee at the sangguniang panlungsod sessions.
This, according to a certified copy of an SP attendance record of regular and special sessions for the period July 2019 to October 2021 duly signed by city secretary Atty. Mark Philip Lumboy.
The records showed re-electionist councilor Danilo Lacson, consistently number 1 in different surveys, and ex-officio member SK Federation president Arnoah Mandani present in all 103 regular and special sessions of the council for the period covered.
Councilor Arvin Suller is a close second, incurring only one absence.
Bottom most in the attendance record is term-ending councilor Amos Rivera, candidate for city mayor under the Aksyon Demokratiko party. Rivera is listed as having a total of 25 absences.
Far second to Rivera incurring less than half his number of absences is Liga ng mga Barangay president Jeremias Alejandrino with 11.
Regular sessions are held once per week at the SP Session Hall while special sessions are held on a need basis.
