Aboitiz power plants donate P500K worth of relief goods to Bataan town

MARIVELES, Bataan: Two coal-fired power plants here of the AboitizPower Thermal North Luzon donated over P500,000 worth of relief food packs to families affected by Typhoon Carina and the southwest monsoon.

GNPower Mariveles Emergency Center Ltd. Co. (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin  Ltd. Co. (GNPD) extended helping hands to typhoon-affected families in 11 barangay of Mariveles.  

The recipients of almost 1,000 food packs were families in Barangays Alas-asin, Sisiman, Baseco Country, Balon Anito, Malaya, Batangas II, Maligaya, Poblacion, Lucanin, Camaya and Townsite. 

GMEC and GNPD employees actively participated in packing the relief goods at Romalaine Seafood Restaurant in Barangay Alas-Asin in Mariveles. 

The residents were grateful to the two power plants for helping them during the calamity.
