SUBIC FREEPORT — The Philippine Navy rendered recently a fitting send-off ceremony for the departing Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) contingent aboard naval vessels KD Kedah (F171) and KD Todak (3506) in Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

The ceremony marked the culmination of RMN’s four-day goodwill visit to the Philippines in line with their Regional Engagement Deployment (RED) initiative to strengthen regional partnerships and enhance maritime security.

The just-concluded engagements between the PN and RMN which included strategic engagement, shipboard tours, and reciprocal receptions fostered mutual understanding vital to upholding their shared commitment to building a secure and prosperous future for Southeast Asian region.

This goodwill visit represented another significant step forward in the cooperative efforts between these two maritime nations and has further paved the way for continued collaboration in addressing shared maritime challenges, enhancing capabilities, and promoting regional stability.
