ANGELES CITY – Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. on Nov. 29 conducted an ocular inspection of the completed construction of phase 1 of the 4-storey building in Rafael Lazatin Memorial Medical Center, formerly Ospital Ning Angeles, which is set to bring more health services to Angeleños and nearby communities.

Joining the mayor during the inspection are councilor Atty. Arvin Suller, chief adviser IC Calaguas, Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, RLMMC chief of hospital Dr. Froilan Canlas, general services officer Evangeline Malonzo, and city engineer-OIC Helen Ayro.

According to Canlas, the emergency room of the RLMMC is the biggest ER in the Philippines.

Canlas also said the second floor will be for the operating rooms, while the third floor will focus on pediatric patients, and the intensive care unit rooms will be placed in the fourth floor.

This hospital building will also have P200-million worth of state-of-the art medical equipment.

The city government is also acquiring additional dialysis machines to address the needs of Angeleños, especially those in the marginalized sector. Angeles CIO
