BALANGA City: The Bataan Police Provincial Office welcomed a group of children for a camp tour and “trick or treat” activity at Camp Cirilo Tolentino here Thursday.

The children in various Halloween costume are from the Provincial Government of Bataan and EduChild Resource Center who earlier were visitors in the office of Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia 3rd

Colonel Palmer Tria, Bataan police director, said police officers showed the children around the camp and explained the different departments and functions. The children were also given the opportunity to take photos with the police officers.

“Trick or treat” followed where the children received candies and other treats from the police officers.

“This gave the officers an opportunity to interact with the children in a relaxed and enjoyable setting, helping to strengthen the relationship between the police and the community,” Tria said.

The police PD expressed his gratitude for the visit and hoped that the children would remember the event as a fun and educational experience.

Tria wished that the visit would help the children to see the police officers as friendly and approachable and that they would feel comfortable seeking their help and assistance if needed in the future. (30)
