CABANATUAN CITY — Christmas time officially unfolded for mall goers and the townsfolk here as SM City Cabanatuan lighted up its Yuletide centerpieces at the mall’s 4th level Monday night.
The activity, now on its 8th year, was graced by several officials from the local governments of Nueva Ecija and this city as well as from national agencies.
They include Nueva Ecija provincial tourism chief Atty. Joma San Pedro, 3rd District board member EJ Joson, city tourism development and promotion office chief Dr. Jean Cruz, and city social welfare and development officer Helen Bagasao.
Department of Trade and Industry provincial director Richard Simangan and city fire marshal Fire Insp. Leocerio Barayuga III were also present during the launch.
Randy Solis, mall manager, said that the centerpieces consisting of one 22-ft., six 13 ft. and five 9- ft. Christmas trees with six snow men and gift boxes is an invitation “for us to gather this Christmas.”
Solis said SM Cabanatuan “has bunch to offer for every family” this season such as a lot of sales, lots of games, and parks.
He also invited mall goers to help bring smile to children in need by purchasing Bears of Joy.
