SM Cares together with SM Supermalls participate for this year’s nationwide Brigada Eskwela. SM City Tarlac joined with the theme “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan”. About 23 volunteers from the mall helped repaint, repaired and cleaned the school facilities of Binauganan Elementary School in Tarlac City on August 12, 2023.
Mr. William A. Cawigan, School Principal, also expressed a message of gratitude to SM City Tarlac for extending help and generosity, and for turning over paint and other cleaning materials to the school.
This initiative is a testament to SM’s dedication to education and their firm belief in the power of volunteerism. It also aims to be part of the inspiration to all students to look forward to a safe, exciting and fresh school year. SM Cares and SM City Tarlac joined hands to be part of this year’s Brigada Eskwela to show that SM really cares for the education of the future generation.
