Samal, Bataan — Members of the Philippine National Police here joined the Foreign National Keepers Network (FNKN) in a comprehensive community outreach program in Barangay Lalawigan on July 11.
The Samal municipal police station headed by police chief Major Jimmy Albert Decin joined forces with FNKN – Bataan led by Syed Shabbir Ali and other government agencies in holding the community program.
The group conducted dialogues on anti-illegal drugs, anti-terrorism, violence against women and children, End Local Communist Armed Conflict, Kasimbayanan program and other related government programs.
The police station also initiated a food bank outreach program through the distribution of 40 food packs in the barangay.
Col. Palmer Tria, Bataan police director, lauded the Samal MPS for actively participating in the community program.
“This activity was conducted purposely to provide and deliver basic government and humanitarian services from stakeholders through alternative food relief/support to all individuals and to reach out to especially to unvisited areas,” the police director said.
This also aims, Tria said, to inform the public about government’s programs, policies, accomplishments, and efforts to bring about real change to the lives of the people.
