CABANATUAN CITY – Two persons were hurt when a fire gutted 11 houses in Barangay San Juan Accfa here at about 3:53 p.m. Saturday.
The injured residents were identified as Joseph Asuncion, 33, who suffered laceration on his back, and Ricardo De Vivar, 66, who sustained multiple burns at the left side of his face, arms, and foot.
A report by the Bureau of Fire Protection-Cabanatuan City showed another resident Joejit Dela Cruz, 50, experienced dizziness and vomiting.
The fire that reportedly started 3:54 p.m. and reached first alarm was declared fire out at about 4:24 p.m., the report said.
The owners of the houses gutted by the fire were identified as Jose Macalla, 74; Hermie De Jesus, 61; Mirasol Aranas, 30; Virginia De Jesus,84; Amelia Estialbo, 55; Ricardo De Vivar, 66; Renie De Vivar, 38; Eduardo Bernard, 61; Efrin Angeles, 59; Mario Cario Bernardo, 39, and Arthur Bingua.
Fire damage was estimated at P300,000. The cause of fire is yet to be determined.
