15 nabbed in drug ops

    SUBIC, Zambales —Fifteen drug personalities were arrested by police in separate drug operations in Zambales and Olongapo City.

    Chief Inspector Leonardo Madrid, head of Subic PNP, identifi ed those arrested as Aida Ampatua y Lanza, 43, of Barangay Cawag; Carmelina Timbang y Pandaan, 44, of Purok 6A, Calapacuan; Mary Rose Scott y Falconeten, 32, of Purok 4, Calapacuan; Michael Bracero y Gindam, 24, of Calapacuan, all in Subic town.

    Also arrested were Aries Montemayor y Paule, 30, of San Simon, Dinalupihan, Bataan; Ronald Ecle y Morano, 45, of Bo. Baretto, Olongapo City and Jimuel Lara, 43, of Del Pilar, Castillejos, Zambales.

    Confiscated from the suspects were 10 small heat-sealed plastic transparent sachets containing shabu, one small opened plastic transparent sachet containing shabu, and the P300 marked money.

    At Bracero St., Barangay Calapacuan, arrested were Sarah Arquero y Dela Rosa, 46, of Purok 4, San Isidro, Subic; Jojo Emnas y Espino, 40, Virjim Reglos y Linag, 36, and Kurt Bryan Delo Santos, 19, all residents of Bo. Barreto, Olongapo City.

    Confiscated from the suspects were five small heatsealed plastic transparent sachets containing shabu and P200 marked money.

    Suspects were arrested by operatives led by Senior Inspector Johnathan Bardaje of DEU while selling drugs to a police poseur-buyer.

    In Olongapo City, four drug personalities were arrested by the City Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Force during drug operation in Barangay West Bajac-Bajac.

    City director Senior Supt. Jerry Sumbad said Inspector Jerry Abaigar led police in arresting Romeo Cruz, 47, of West Bajac-Bajac nabbed while selling shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

    On the other hand, John Duenas y Gigante, 31, Janice Lagman y Tolentino, 32, and Jimmy Alberto y De Castro, 43, years old were nabbed while sniffing shabu.

    Police recovered six transparent plastic sachets of shabu and assorted drug paraphernalia from them.

    All the suspects were locked up in jail facing charges for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002).
