    Deloso beats Ebdane

    IBA, Zambales — Former Gov. Amor Deloso made his comeback good this time, beating incumbent Gov. Hermogenes Ebdane, Jr.

    Unofficial results show Deloso obtaining 146, 976 votes against Ebdane’s 106,402 in the 13 towns of Zambales.

    In the vice gubernatorial race, incumbent Ramon Lacbain ll obtained 99,869 votes, losing to Angel Magsaysay who got 133,416 votes. The winner is the daugther of former Gov. Vicente Magsaysay.

    Jeffrey Khonghun retained his post as 1st District representative, while the 2nd District went to Atty. Cheryll Deloso Montalla, daughter of the gubernatorial winner.

    In Olongapo City, re-electionist Mayor Rolen Paulino beat former Mayor James Gordon, with running mate Jong Cortez winning against incumbent Vice Mayor Rodel Cerezo.

    Woman power triumphed five of the 13 towns of Zambales, with San Antonio Mayor Estela Antipolo, San Felipe Mayor Caroline Fariñas, San Narciso Mayor Larine Sarmiento, Cabangan Mayor Joy Apostol, and Masinloc Mayor Arcenia Lim.

    In Subic town Mayor Jay Khonghun was re-elected along with running mate JB Felarca. Re-electionist Vice Mayor Lauro Simbol lost in the election.

    In Castillejos town, re-electionist Jose Angelo Dominguez won.

    The other winners are: San Marcelino Mayor Elvis Soria, Iba re-electionist Mayor Rundy Ebdane, Palauig Mayor Belly Aceron, Candelaria Mayor Napoleon Edquid, and Sta. Cruz Mayor Chito Marty.
