IBA, Zambales — Seven provincial directors, two city directors and other PNP officials in Central Luzon attended the command conference in preparation for the national and local elections at Balin Sambali here Wednesday.
Police Regional Office lll director Chief Supt. Rudy Lacadin led the welcome for PNP Director General Ricardo Marquez and lauded Zambales for being “the most peaceful province in Central Luzon.”
The city and provincial police directors reported to Marquez their preparation for the elections and the overall peace and order situation in their areas of responsibility.
Marquez warned PNP personnel against engaging in partisan politics, stressing the “stringent sanctions” the law provides.
Marquez said that whoever wins the presidential elections he will tender his resignation to give the next President a free hand in choosing the next PNP chief.
The 13 municipal police station chiefs also attended the command conference.
