CABANATUAN CITY – A P1.3- million chapel will soon rise inside the compound of the Nueva Ecija police provincial office along Burgos Ave. here.

Col. Richard Caballero, NEPPO director, said the groundbreaking ceremony for the chapel construction was held Monday, being attended by police officers and leaders of various religious groups and other stakeholders.

“Let us always put in mind that this chapel will be built as an expression of our faith and thanksgiving to the Lord,” Caballero said.

The chapel, he added, is also their way of “witnessing  that the Lord always accompanies us in our endeavors, especially in maintaining peace and order in the communities.”

He said the chapel.is in itself a blessing from the Lord, “a way of thanking our generous Lord who never gets tired of loving us and protecting us in the performance of our duty.”

The ceremonies were attended by the NEPPO command group and staff, chiefs of police, non-commissioned officers, and non-uniformed personnel.

Several members  of the Provincial Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development such as Rev. Fr. Marlou  Cruz, Bishop Hans Bacolli, Rev. Pastor Hernan Edquiban, Pastor Jose Arnie Santilices and other members of Bless Our Cops Movement as well as representatives from E.D. Libunao Construction and Trading also attended the activity.
