Inspector Zynon A. Paiking, 303rd Maritime chief, identified the suspects as Roberto Cabaltira Estudilio, 45, and Joey Arado Teñoso, 32, both residents of Centro Biaan, Mariveles.
Confiscated from the suspects were one motorized banca powered by 16 HP engine, one set compressor, 50-meter color green hose, two pieces of wooden paddle, three sets improvised fin, four plastic tubs, one matchbox, one improvised scoop, three improvised goggles, five kilos of assorted fish suspected caught through explosives, and four bottles of 500ml dynamite with blasting cap.
The suspects face charges for violation of Section 88 Paragraph 1 (mere possession of dynamited fish) and Paragraph 2 (mere possession of explosives) of RA 8550 otherwise known as The Philippine Fisheries Code of 1998.
