CDC, Angeles City provide livelihood assistance with ‘mobile karts’

ANGELES CITY — Clark Development Corporation (CDC) in collaboration with the Angeles City government provided livelihood assistance to vulnerable populations in the area.

Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, CDC president and CEO underscored the program’s objective to realize the vision of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. in improving the quality of life for the Filipino people.

In support of the project, Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. of Angeles City provided P5,000 to each of the 14 beneficiaries. At the ceremony held at the Session Hall on June 14, Kabuhayan Mobile Karts were distributed to individuals identified by the Angeles City Social Welfare and Development Office.

Mayor Lazatin thanked the CDC for their assistance and emphasized the significance of providing livelihood opportunities to his constituents.

“Maraming Salamat po sa tulong na ibinigay ng CDC sa siyudad namin, sa pagbibigay ninyo ng kabuhayan sa aming kababayan,” Lazatin said.

Among the beneficiaries, Edna Abuyan, a 62-year-old recipient from Barangay Amsic, expressed gratitude to the CDC and pledged to care for the mobile kart, recognizing its potential to enhance her standard of living.

Another recipient, Ezekiel Tuvieron, a 21-year-old resident of Barangay San Jose intends to use the carts to sell fishballs while continuing his education. He acknowledged Kabuhayan Mobile Karts as a source of financial assistance in pursuit of his educational goals.

Also present during the event were Assistant Vice President for External Affairs Rommel Narciso, city councilors Atty. Arvin Suller and Marino Baola, Social Welfare and Development Officer for Angeles City Edna Duaso, and Economic Development and Investment Promotions for Angeles City Officer Irish Bonus-Llego.
