CABANATUAN CITY – Nueva Ecija 3rd District Rep. Ria Vergara lauded Sen. Bong Go for establishing projects and programs on health and social services that also benefit her constituents.
Vergara who chairs the House of Representatives’ social services committee said that Go, who for his part heads the Senate committee on health, has been supporting her bills by sponsoring counterpart measures.
Vergara, along with Mayor Myca Elizabeth Vergara and other city officials, joined Go on Tuesday in the groundbreaking rites for a super health center in Barangay Camp Tinio here.
Go also visited a Malasakit Center at the Paulino J. Garcia Memorial Research and Medical Center and led the distribution of Aid to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) to 1,000 beneficiaries here.
“Yung iaabot niya sa inyo ay galing sa kanyang pondo bilang senador,” Vergara told the AICS beneficiaries.
Go described the super health center as a medium-type polyclinic.
“Pwede po ang birthing, dental, at laboratories at p’wedeng i-expand ng LGUs,” he said, adding that the project is being implemented by the Department of Health.
