On display at The Bunker are important photos and items, memorabilia and documents from the start of the war, heavy fighting in various fronts, Fall of Bataan on April 9, 1942, Bataan Death March, Liberation of the Philippines and other historical and memorable events during WWII.

The exhibit was titled War of our Fathers: A Brotherhood of Heroes.

“Nawa’y magsilbi itong inspirasyon sa ating mga kababayan upang magbalik-tanaw sa ating kasaysayan at bigyang halaga ang mga sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani,” Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia III said.

Permanent fixtures at The Bunker  that added color to the exhibits are a replica of a Philippine Army plane at the ceiling that heavily fought the Japanese war planes and an artillery tank, both at the ground floor.

The stunning seven storey- The Bunker, seat of the provincial government,  is a WWII exhibit by itself.

The big building has portions as if ripped by artillery fire. Bunkers were built during the war as protection from aerial bombardment and artillery fire.
