TARLAC CITY (PIA) — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) conducted a seminar on starting up a business featuring seven Tarlac women entrepreneurs.
They shared their insights on business opportunities as well as their entrepreneurial journey.
DTI Tarlac Senior Trade-Industry Development Specialist Ana Marie Tabamo said the agency aims to encourage potential entrepreneurs through the testimonies of successful entrepreneurs.
“We hope this activity and the sharing of the resource speakers have inspired the participants to become entrepreneurs because we feel that our speakers represent most of the would-be and existing micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs,” Tabamo said.
Topics discussed include entrepreneurial mind-setting, and business opportunities on handicrafts, home furnishings, processed food, and agri-business.
About 80 students, employees, potential entrepreneurs, and micro, small, and medium enterprises participated in the seminar organized in line with the Women’s Month Celebration. (CLJD/GLSB-PIA 3)
