OLONGAPO CITY — A husband and his wife were arrested by operatives of the City Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Team (CAIDSOT) during a buy-bust operation at Ocean Beach Resort in Barangay Kalaklan, this city Wednesday evening.
P/Inspector Julius Javier, CAIDSOT team leader, identified the suspects as Tomas Abiro, 49, and his wife Aluya, 45, of Barangay Calapacuan, Subic, Zambales.
Investigation conducted by SPO1 Allan Delos Reyes, said that at about 11:00 p.m. a police poseur buyer was able to purchase shabu worth P2, 000.00 from the suspects while they were on board a Hyundai van (WRM-363).
Police recovered from the suspects’ possession P2, 000 mark money and 50 small plastics sachets containing what the cops suspected as shabu.
The suspects were charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 before the city Prosecutors Office here.
