Police recover stolen Mitsubishi Adventure

    OLONGAPO CITY – The Highway Patrol Group 3-Zambales (HPG3) have intensified their campaigned against carnapping following the recovery of carnapped motor vehicle, four motorcycles were impounded and 14 persons were apprehended for various traffic violations.

    In his report to regional chief, HPG3 Sr. Supt. Fernando Villlanueva, Chief Inspector Noel Nuñez, of HPG3-Zambales, said the recovered Mitsubishi Adventure (RFW-688) was owned by Dra. Encarnacion Palisoc of Barangay West Bajac-Bajac.

    Nuñez added that four motorcycles were impounded at the HPG3 office after owners failed to show pertinent documents of ownership. Others were unregistered, he said.

    At least 14 motorists were also apprehended with the police’s  weeklong operation in the implementation of “no plate, no travel” policy.

    Most of the motorist violation include: not wearing protective helmet, reckless driving, over loading, unregistered motor vehicles, no wearing set belt and other traffic violations.
