TARLAC third district Representative Noel “Bong” Rivera will provide free franchise and insurance coverage every year for tricycle drivers and operators in the municipalities of Capas, La Paz, Bamban and Concepcion, the four municipalities that comprises the third district.
In a forum with the third district tricycle operators and drivers on January 19, Rivera said that he will help the drivers and operators for the renewal of the respective franchises and payment of their insurance.
“Tutulungan ko kayo sara ma-renew and inyong prangkisa at taon-taon meron kayong sa aking libreng insurance. Ipinangangako ko po sa inyo na libre ang pragkisa ninyo hanggat ako ay naka-upo nyong kongresman,” Rivera said.
According to the third district Congressman, no government money is involved in his free franchise and insurance program.
“Wala pong lalabas na pera ang gobyerdo dito. Sariling pera kop o ito. Ito’y tulong ko sa inyo,” he said.
