    Public school classrooms slated for P45-M rehab

    MALOLOS CITY- The Department of Education (DepEd) has allocated P45 million for the repair of classrooms in 13 public schools in Bulacan.

    Bulacan Schools Division Superintendent Romeo Ali said repairs are slated at the Jaime Vistan High School in Plaridel costing P2.6 million and, all in Bustos, the Camachilihan Elementary School costing P5 million, the Bong a Mentor Elementary School costing P2.2 million, S. Del Rosario Elementary School costing P3.9 million and Dr. Ramirez Elementary Schools costing P2.3 million.

    Also with funding for repairs in the town of San Miguel are the Sta. Inescapable Elementary School in San Miguel costing P4.9 million, Maguinao Elementary School costing P6 million, the Pulo Elementary School costing P 1.6 mllion, Maronquillo Elementary School costing P4.1 million, the Tambubong Elementary School costing P4.5 million, the Diliman Elementary School costing P1.2 million, the Salapungan Elementary School costing P1 million, and the San Rafael Central School costing P5.1 million.

    DepEd cited the Department of Budget and Management as saying the classrooms are among the 18,000 classrooms already with funding for rehabilitation in various parts of the country.
